Knitting along...

Still no quilts to show, since I can honestly say I haven't sewn a thing! My family priorities have certainly taken the forefront of all of my time and energy. For a while, I didn't even have a second to miss it, but I'm really feeling it now. Got to get that baby cranking!

I have been knitting a bit, and I always seem to gravitate to wools and needles this time of year....my scarf is halfway done. I started it to wear to the kids games- it's their team colors. Since the season is now over, I am not as motivated to finish it. I figured I'd start something else... so I started a purple sweater, and ripped it out, and restarted it. Currently working on the the third version, and I'm hoping the saying is true, because I'm getting really tired of starting over!

  2. My problem with knitting......I can't count and keep track of kids. I rip out more than I knit together. I've missed you and am just happy to read you're doing well. You're right family takes work!

  4. The sewing/quilting will come soon enough... Sometimes when life is so busy it is good to be able to have the knitting that you can pick up and drop at anytime without a thought... 8-)

  5. Family is important. I did not take up quilting until my kids were almost grown.
I love the purple yarn you are using. It is going to be a lovely sweater. Keep on.

  6. Knitting is easier to pick up while in between family activities and work. Very nice things you are working on. Enjoy! Knitting is a very good thing. :-)
