Last month I started working as the charge nurse on a new unit in the hospital. I've always worked in Oncology, and this floor is a mix of Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant. I also increased my hours, therefore I have much less crafty time on my hands. My sweater is complete (YAH!), but there isn't anyone to take a picture of me wearing it. It actually fits, which is a plus! I also started another knitted item, since I can bring my WIP's on the way to work. So, that's why it's been a few weeks since my last post. Hopefully, I'll get used to the new work schedule, and if not, I'll be sure to pop in when I can.

your sweater looks great and I bet is coming in handy with the crazy winter weather the east coast is having
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the sweater turned out so nice and fits. I'm sure you'll adjust to the new schedule. We miss you, though.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sweater...good luck on the new charge nurse job. You are the glue that holds the unit together, so congratulations and big hugs when the tough times come.
ReplyDeleteOh...we will miss you but understand.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get the hang of this new work schedule, juggling family time and perhaps eventually crafting time will come around again...not easy working and raising a family. Meanwhile, this sweater is wonderful ~ you know, some of us spend years trying to make a sweater, lol. Hang in there. :-D
ReplyDeletePretty sweater and congratulations on the promotion!! It's good that you can keep your hands busy on the commute.
ReplyDeleteCrispy
Don't you hate when work gets in the way of our hobbies :-). I can totally relate as I am in the middle of tax season so my quilting time is severely limited right now. Congrats on the new job though!
ReplyDeleteYour sweater looks great Danielle! Love the yarn! Ya done good girl! 8-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting used to your added hours and new position at work!
