Hello all, I know I've been missing for the last week. I have to admit to a few things...
First, my computer (aka baby mac) is acting up and my IT geek (aka hubby) is away, so I am using his computer... therefore no pictures.
Second, I've been cheating on/ignoring my quilting, *gasp* but it's because of the most glorious yarn I've ever seen! It's Noro brand called Silk Garden Lite, and it has to be the best yarn I've ever knitted with. (Well, I haven't knitted a whole lot, so I guess I'm a little biased!) But it really is so pretty, and it's one that changes colors, with nubs and texture and angora fibers, oh my!
Third, I worked a lot this past week, and so I haven't put my spare time to good use towards sewing at my machine. I also feel like the weather plays a big factor in how much time I spend at my machine. Lots of time spent outside, and doing gardening, kids sports, blah, blah, blah.
Fourth, I am taking the OCN exam next week, and I've actually had to study! It's for my particular specialty in nursing, a certification for Oncology nurses. Haven't had to do that for a while, so I'm a bit out of practice. Truthfully, I'm a lot nervous about it. Keeping fingers and toes crossed, though....
I'm going to get back on track soon, and hopefully get baby mac working again, too. Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day. Thank you to all of the service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Lots going on. Good luck with the test. Hope you pass with flying colors.
ReplyDeleteWell I've certainly missed you Danielle but completely understand. I'm sure you'll rock that test! I'll have to let my sister know about that yarn.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the exam. I'm sure you will do well on it. When you are back in business with photos, you need to show us this wonderful yarn, okay?
