Giveaway

Soooooo...  I am so excited that I won my first giveaway, but I'm also excited that I'm now having my first giveaway, too!  I received the bags in the mail from Artfully Ooglebloops, and I picked out my favorite,  I also got some pretty blue yarn and a zentangle tag, which are way cool!

This is the bag YOU could win:

There will also be a little extra surprise for the lucky winner, so here's how it goes: Leave a comment on this post.  Tell me who you are, and something about a project that you are working on currently.  I will pick a random winner on Sunday.

These bags originally came all the way from American Samoa from Barb.  She made 5 bags, and then started the giveaway.  Each time someone won, they picked out their favorite, and then offered the rest as a giveaway to the best bloggers out there - quilters like you!  She also happens to be having another giveaway going on right now.  You should really take a look, she has some beautiful things on her blog.

  1. The first to comment but not the last I am sure. I am Kim from Stillmeadow Quilting. I am working on my Thimbleberries House and Garden quilt BOM from 2007...my first and last BOM. It is a large quilt with several borders. Can't wait to scratch it off my WIP list. Thanks for the giveaway. Such cute things you have found!

  2. I am trying to create a little project with some of my scraps. So far it is not going very well, but I will keep at it.

  3. I've been following these little bags around blog land since they began. No win yet...maybe this is my time? I'm from northern Maine where I have laundry hanging out FINALLY...I so love to hang laundry and can't wait for spring for that reason. I've been working on some cactus pot blocks for a lotto I'm in. I'm also 're doing' a store bought shirt to make it a better fit. Just painted the sewing room, so not everything is in and organized yet.

  4. Congrats on your win! I'm working on a Christmas star pattern which along with most of my projects has me a little frustrated, so now I'm cleaning. Hoping to be recharged. Your win was just what you needed after a long weekend of work!! :)

  6. Hi Danielle, I'm Crispy and I too have been trying to win one of Barb's bags...the best part is that I've been eyeing this particular bag all along. I've been working on a quilt for my great niece Emma for an eternity LOL. Blogging keeps cutting into my quilting time. Anyway, if you pop over to my blog, the quilt is under Emma's Quilt.

  7. Hi Danielle,
I just want to say welcome and thanks for coming by my blog and the well wishes you sent me. I have just looked over your whole blog and you have done some great works. I look forward to seeing more of your Aunt Millie's garden blocks and I see you do punchneedle too. I will be adding your blog to my list so I can follow along.
I am Carrie P. from North Carolina and I am not doing much because of my elbow but I am trying to work on a nine patch UFO quilt.

  8. I am Sandy from Tri-Cities, Washington. I have been quilting about 5 years and am totally obsessed with it. I won a $100 at work Thursday, so stopped at "Craft Warehouse" yesterday and spent it all! I did buy some racing fabric to finish up the borders on a "boy" baby quilt. I also bought a fat quarter bundle of "Chapel Hill Flannel" by Ro Gregg. Now, I have to decide on what pattern!

    Thanks for letting me visit,
    Sandy
