My blogging buddy Serena gave me a friendship award that I have to post about: Thank you Serena- I have enjoyed becoming friends via blogging and email... You have so much energy, a beautiful little girl, and another one on the way, I don't know how you do it all! Plus, you are always posting about creative and thought provoking things. So thank you, my fellow quilter, I truly appreciate it! I'm also supposed to pass it along, but I just tagged a bunch of you with the honest scrap award, and I don't want to go overboard with the tagging thing. I know you all understand. I want to take this time to acknowledge those of you who visit me and leave comments. I look forward to reading them, and I think it's one of the best parts of blogging!
This what I worked on for the ocean breezes quilt. I only have a small bit done, and I still have to topstitch the the corners over to make the curves. It really is a neat technique, and I love how it gives the pattern movement. You can see the curve in the bottom right hand corner. I can't wait to show you more... hopefully soon!
It's hard when your sewing "mojo" just isn't there...I've had it happen a lot of times. Loving how that ocean breezes quilt is coming along. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteOh I've had this happen so often....I hate it but just try to get your mind on something else. It will come back to you. Promise ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home. I've missed you!!
I agree about blogging and sewing going hand in hand. It's not easy to think of things to blog about all the time. You will get back into it when you are ready and we will be here to greet you :o)

No obligation blogging, dear. No worries. :o) A beautiful quilt you are working on. I like it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award, enjoy! Very nice progress on your ocean waves quilt, the colors really make it wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHope you are not feeling so blah today. Blog and sew when you are in the mood. Sometimes we need a break.
