My plans for the fabric is to add it to this pile of 30's....
And make a whole bunch of these!...
Truth be told, I am using a plastic template called a Quilt-Patti. It's pretty easy, no paper to remove after being sewn together. If I'm being totally honest, I bought them at the LQS, when they opened... well, probably 5 years ago. But, I have been hoarding, I mean collecting, these fat quarters since. I think there's enough now for a nice mix of colors and patterns. Not even going to think about what color to set them with. Maybe another row of white, and then a solid purple? TBD at a later date!
Oh...it will be lovely!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow what a great collection! I have been collecting 30's fabrics. Trying to save enough to make a medallion pattern that was made up in these colors. Loved it. And they used white for setting.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do think it will be one beautiful quilt...love all the colors.
ReplyDeleteIt will look lovely when completed, am intrested in the plastic templates though.
