Sew...ahem.... I mean so I have a BIG problem. I was happily quilting my cotton candy lane quilt for a few hours yesterday , and a few more today. Happy to report that I love the the way it's coming along. I used a varigated pink sulky thread for the top, I was just stippling like mad. It looks great! I matched the thread on the back to the hot pink minkee, perfect match, too! So, where's the problem you ask? It's my Pfaff....She won't turn on now, and when she does, she just shuts right off. Oh the pain! Why oh why, what's wrong with her? I am going to the nearest Pfaff dealer/service place in the morning. I could just cry. She's never acted this way before.... I've never had a machine being overused to the point of failure before either! In the absence of being able to complete it, (all that's left are the borders, argh) I found a funny cartoon image to share. Maybe I should include a disclaimer... Please don't try this at home. This stunt was performed by a professional. Ha! Just for those of you who actually might try that. Wish me luck, I fear words like motherboard, and computer code error, and reboot....... :-(

OH, my goodness....please let us know when you find out the problem. I'd be worried about it, too. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThat is just terrible! I'm so sorry. And a Pfaff what a great machine! ARGHHH I feel ya! :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope she gets better, like, NOW. Let us know!!
ReplyDeleteThose darn computerized sewing machines, maybe we should all just use a treadle machine??? Or better yet, hand piece and quilt LOL. Hope it's just a fuse, though they will probably charge you an arm and leg to replace it :0(
ReplyDeleteCrispy
Oh, it is sad when a major tool of our trade acts up! I hope it isn't an expensive repair.
ReplyDeleteThat cartoon is a hoot! That's how I feel about drawing, LOL. I'm sure many creators can relate to that one. I love this pink-a-licious quilt you have shown. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSeeking inspiration... I have made a recent quest to visit more quilter's blogs. Because I am designing my own fabric!
